Investigate the elements of fiction - character, plot, dialogue - and find the structure that's necessary for your sprouting story to take root and flourish. A variety of exercises, daily readings, and personal assignments will train your writing mind and encourage a personal writing practice. The critique sessions will be guided, respectful of each writer’s unique voice. You’ll gain the valuable insight of fellow writers who understand the challenges of the writing life, and through the process of reading critically, you’ll deepen your relationship to your own writing. This class is perfect for writers who want to start a new project.
