THROWING: Form & Surface
Workshop Outline:
During this workshop, students will combine throwing and handbuilding to develop new forms to serve as canvases for different types of slip and surface decoration. In addition, the class will examine both historical and contemporary ceramics to develop a more educated eye. Although no work will be fired at MISSA, various firing techniques will be discussed.
