THE EXPRESSIVE FIGURE
Workshop Outline:
This workshop will examine the figure as an expressive element of fine arts. Students will explore the live model in four major styles and interpretations – the naturalistic, the sentimental, the formalistic and the semiotic, pushing the boundaries of their life drawing skills through the experimental and inventive use of the basic media. Strong background in pictorial rendering is essential.
