STRETCHING, FORM ALTERATION and SURFACE EMBELLISHMENT
Workshop Outline:
This course will concentrate on clay in the green state. Students will learn techniques for stretching and altering forms that have just been made, as well as those that are leather hard and dry. Slip will be used to create variations in the surface of the work. The instructor will demonstrate and guide students as they try various techniques which are adaptable to hand-built as well as wheel thrown work.
