SLIP and SLIDE: Decals & Other Glaze Afterthoughts
Workshop Outline:
Mariko will lead students through a two day whirlwind workshop geared toward the development of pre-glazed surfaces of both handmade and industrial wares. Participants will learn how to add another layer of visual information to the already glazed surfaces using homemade inkjet decals and a variety of commercial decals. China paint will also be introduced as a means of adding to, embellishing and accenting the ceramic surface.
