SAMPLE ETCHING FOR JEWELERS & METALSMITHS
Workshop Outline:
Come and learn to develop surface designs using simple etching techniques on copper and brass. Students can experiment with many different resists to transfer their designs to metal using acid etching techniques. In this two day workshop students will make many samples that can later be incorporated into their own work, or developed into larger sized projects. The finished etched samples are not intended for printing. Jewelers and sculptors, beginners and more experienced artists are all welcome.
