ABSTRACT PAINTING
Workshop Outline:
An abstract painting with some sense of a horizon line immediately gives reference to a landscape without actually being a landscape. In this two day workshop, students will develop their painting skills using acrylics with oil pastels as a resist. They will learn to create forms that become their own personal language of symbols. The layers of colour, form and line along with opaque and transparent paint will, in effect, become the personal landscape of each student.
