ABSTRACT PAINTING with Cold Wax Medium and Oil
Workshop Outline:
In this lively workshop, participants engage in a playful exploration of abstraction using cold wax medium and oils to create vibrant paintings. A fresh approach to working more freely and intuitively will be presented along with clear, concise explanations of colour theory, harmony, value and design as students work on a flowing series of small paintings or multiples. The workshop will also have a brief introduction to cold wax monotypes. Because this workshop focuses on the painting process, and is experimental in nature, the class appeals to those who are open, flexible and willing to play.
