Workshop Outline:
Bring those mementos, nature’s offerings, old photos and odd items you have collected for years and join in the fun with this high-energy workshop. Explore the marriage of urban cast offs and traditional art materials as a way of making narrative works of art. Use lyrics, poems, dreams or stories from your ancestors as inspiration. Start an altered book, make an assemblage in a box, fashion an art doll or figurative piece. Finally, an opportunity to utilize all those mementos from your past!
