Residency

Residency Program
July 5-16, 2010
$550

This two-week program is an opportunity for professional and serious amateur artists to take part in an intensive studio situation. Artists are free to produce new work, explore a concept, experiment with a new technique, or further develop their current direction. There will be individual sessions available with the mentor.

The Residency program is not for beginners. While art school experience is not required, applicants should be committed artists looking for professional-level guidance, critique and discussion. Acceptance for the workshop is contingent upon a portfolio review by committee. Applicants should submit via email six images (500 KB maximum size per image) of the applicant's pieces, plus an art bio and a brief statement regarding the work/project that the applicant intends to pursue at MISSA. Staying on campus is recommended. MENTOR: John Luna www.johnluna.ca
