The “Friends of MISSA” is an organization
created to foster interest in and provide volunteer support to Metchosin
International Summer School of the Arts. Membership to date includes former
students, professional and amateur artists, and those interested in promoting
and supporting visual arts of all kinds. As a “Friend”, if you live locally, you
may be invited to help with mail-outs (labeling envelopes, folding and
stuffing inserts, etc.) or any other projects before and during the courses.
If you live out-of-town, we ask that you “spread the good word” about MISSA
and distribute brochures and notices which we will send you, in your locale. Cost to join “Friends” is just $15.00 per
year. Your membership entitles you to a $10.00 discount on any workshops put
on in the Fall of each year. You also will be notified of our upcoming MISSA
program and will have the opportunity to register early (January 11th as
regular registration starts January 25th). Show your support of MISSA and
